Weekend Outing - North Port, Klang

Location 1 - Jeti Pulau Ketam, Klang
Pakat kumpul kat tol Bukit Raja around 5.00 pm, then off we go to Northport. Reached Jeti Pulau Ketam dah dekat pukul 6.00 pm. Carik port utk start shoot. Our 1st outing with seasoned photograhers yg masing2 bawak DSLR. Kami baru la nak try guna semi-pro Canon S5 IS. Intention awal nak tunggu sunset, tapi since baru lepas hujan, the environment not as expected. Tak kisah la, next time ada lagi.
Location 2 - Muara Ikan Bakar
Mak datuk, ramainya orang. Tapi nasib baik tempat besar, enough room for everyone. Menu mlm tadi:
1. Ikan pari bakar
2. Deep fried sotong
3. Ikan garoupa masak 3 rasa
4. Sambal udang
5. Sayur kangkung belacan
6. Tomyam ayam
Balik sempat la tgk2 orang menjual kat tepi jalan. Patutnyer terus balik, tapi bila dah sorang tarik kuar tripod, yg lain apa lagi, terjebak sekali lagi.

here are first few pics snapped using S5 IS. tak adjust aper2 to the pics, just auto correct using picture manager. details of the configuration kena tanya azrul. kalau aku, pakai night snapshots jek  tapi which one was using which config pun tak ingat dah. kan camera share... lain la mcm a couple yg aku kenal tu kan, sorang satu camera...

a visit to zoo negara

arranged this trip about a week ago. rahsia kan dari harith coz if he knew, dan2 tu gak la dier ajak pi. so everytime nak sebut zoo, we just spelled it out z-o-o. but now dier dah tau what is z-o-o
invited harith's cousins to join the trip coz harith memang enjoy being with aiman and aliff. the kids really enjoyed the trip, maser naik train tour the zoo, suara diaorg je yg bising atas train tu. kecohhhh tulll!!!...
after tgk animal show, we thought of walking another round, but we only managed to walk up to the elephant je. sempat la bg the elephant makan tebu (ayah harith je yg bagi coz the kids takut biler elephant tu nak grab the tebu from their hand). pastu hujan pun turun dgn lebatnyerrrr... most of the days dok panas berpanjangan, hari tu pulak bleh hujan... biler hujan dah reda, we decided to balik aje coz kalau nak continue pun, jalan dah lecak. kids kalau jln pijak air, tau je la camner...
kitaorg tak balik terus, tapi singgah mc'donalds bg chance the kids main kat indoor playground plak.
*susah betul nak amik gambar budak ber3 tu. psl tu la gambar diaorg ber3/ber2 tu pelbagai. sbb mostly candid. errr... sebenarnyer harith sorang jek yg tak bleh terima arahan, yg cousins tu 2-2 dah 6 thn, senang jek suruh2

Bila photographers masuk kampung

Last weekend's trip memang best! biGGG thanks to abah for inviting us to join him balik to his kampung in Sungai Bakap. To me, it was a 'sambil menyelam minum air' trip because i got a chance to visit my parents in Taiping as well...
to harith, that was the first time he 'being' a kampung boy. harith got a chance to kejar2 ayam, naik motor pergi dusun, kutip durian, manggis, langsat, and complete dgn mandi sungai sekali which was the klimaks of the activities yg harith tunggu2.
we kenduri buah2an all fresh from dusun. later, others continue the trip to Penang while we went back to Taiping. Overall, we had a very good time... terima kasih daun keladi, lain kali ajak la lagi...

Trip to Bali - Travel and Shop

Date: 15th June 2007 - 18th June 2007
Accommodation: Hard Rock Hotel, Kuta Bali
The trip memang besttttt... main objective tercapai... travel and shopping!!!  sampai double our budget!!!  tapi takpe, puas hati... tu yg penting... biar nyesal beli, jgn nyesal tak beli 
Day 1 nothing much, we landed in Bali about 7.40pm. transferred to hotel, checked in and went out to survey Kuta square. Dinner, McDonalds.
Day 2 after breakfast (breakfast spread memang takleh lawan malaysian hotels) off to Tanjung Benoa for water activities. Tried parasailing and diving. parasailing tak puas... kejap sgt rasernyer. diving plak definately not for us... next time, try only bende2 di udara sahaja yeaaaa... then we stopped for lunch at Warung Bandung on the way to Tanah Lot. Food kat sini ok la... price pun ok, tak mahal sgt. Sampai Tanah Lot, as expected ular sawa dok melingkar tu memang tak pernah ingin nak pegang, tumpang lalu je la... tgk2 temple pun dr jauh jek coz malas nak jalan. lagipun kan ke main objectivenyer nak shopping... so lepas dah shopped aper yg patut, off we went for massage at King's Spa, somewhere near Jimbaran. Massage nie took 2 hrs... so memang sedap la kan kena urut2 nie... lepas urut2, ke Jimbaran for seafood dinner at Santi Cafe. On the way balik ke hotel bleh singgah plak Kebab Palace, nak beli kebab. Kebab nie kena la try jugak since jepp dok ckp byk kali mesti try. tak try mcm tak complete la plak! so jepp, the kebab memang sedappp!!! pastu acara wajib, merayap kat kuta square againnn...
Day 3 we hired 1/2 day same tourist guide to go to Sukawati and Galuh. Kat sukawati tak shopped sgt, just baju budak2 jek. kemuncak shopping memang kat Galuh, kedai batik and tenun. Lama betul kitaorg kat dlm tu. kat sini je more than IDR1mil. abisss. tu pun dah 50% discount. dah family besar, so byk la nak membeli. org kedai pun dok senyum2 je then balik ke kuta, singgah lunch kat Natrabu Minang somewhere area Sanur. Dr. M and Pak Lah dah pernah makan kat sini, and natrabu minang pun ader branch kat kpg baru. food memang sedap and cheaper than warung bandung. on the way balik sempat gak singgah planet hollywood and ronda2 sat dlm galleria duty free mall. Balik hotel antar brg2, kuar pulak ke discovery shopping mall, amik cab. balik, jln kaki je all the way... singgah kebab palace again... singgah lama giler kat kuta square... sampai hotel, rehat2 sat, kuar lepak kat centerstage hard rock plak layan live band until midnight. we ordered nachos, so-so je rasernyer.
Day 4 lepas breakfast jenjln kat pantai kuta. tgk2 org surfing. amik2 gambar. pastu ke kuta square againnnnn maner la tak over budget, pi kuta square jek baper juta kali. asal pi jek, tak sah kalau tak membeli pastu balik hotel layan swimming pool plak. nie wajib sbb swimming pool hard rock besar giler, rugi kalau tak turun. naik bilik kemas2 brg sket2... sikit ke??? bykkkkk actually!!! kuar lunch kat mcD depan pantai kuta then merayap again ke kuta square... sempat lagiiii tuuuu psl tu la nak sgt duk kat kuta, senang nak ulang byk kali wakakakakaka!!!
The end of travel and shop. Looking forward for our next trip. Where to???

Welcome to Sabah (12th - 14th May 2007)

Last Saturday flew off to Kota Kinabalu to join Azrul who was already there since Thursday. We stayed in Le Meridian because of its location, easy access to Philippine market and shopping complex.
Climbed up to Kinabalu Park, tapi tak climb the famous mountain, mount Kinabalu. Drove further up to Kundasang, Ranau, and Poring HotSpring.
Met adleen (member lama maser kat bainun dulu) and her little aisha.
